Health Care or healthcare refers to the prevention, treatment as well a management of any kind of illness. The term Health Care also includes the preservation of the mental as well as physical fitness and well being that can be provided by way of the services offered by by various medical and Health Care related professions. These professions include medical profession, nursing and many other health professions that are related to th well being of a human being. As per the idea provided by the World Health Organization the term Health Care includes every single goods as well as services that were meant to provide the person with good health. This again includes the interventions that can prevent ill health cure it and retain better health at the same time. If even the interventions can provide prevention and cure to any single person or to population it will be included under Health Care.
If the preventive, curative as well as Palliative interventions are combined together in an organized way in order to provide the people, with good health care then it will be called a Health Care system.
These systems comprising of different health care services can provide prevention and cure to numerous people suffering from some disease or the other. Some of these Health Care systems are provided by the government of the country to its people. There are many such systems that provide health care to people of a country, ;locality or to the world on a private basis too.
In most of the developed countries the citizens or at least the legal residents are entitled to get good Health Care irrespective of his or her capacity to pay. Mos t of the governments in the developed countries provide its residents with the health care insurance as well as health care coverage which helps the people to get the necessary medical benefits fro which he or she is entitled. Many of these Health Care are funded from public sources while there are some areas where private sourcing is also necessary. Many of the under developed countries do not have adequate Health Care facilities but these countries are trying hard to provide the people of the country with the necessary health care benefits. The Health Care in many countries are strengthening and some counties are also planning for the Health Care reforms. These countries are expected to get good Health Care system withing a short while.
